The Saline County Commission on Aging is an umbrella organization for
several community services, including
Meals On Wheels & frozen meals, Sunflower Adult Day
, Live At Home Solutions©, Healthy Lifestyles and the Salina Senior Center.

These services fall into two broad categories:

  • Through Live At Home Solutions©, we coordinate the delivery of services that help Salina area
residents live at home despite functional limitations, chronic health problems, or disabilities.

  • With Healthy Lifestyles, we support programs at the Salina Senior Center that promote healthy
lifestyles among all Saline County residents age 50+.

The Saline County Commission on Aging and its facilities -- Salina Senior Center and
Sunflower Adult Day Services -- are not sending out teams to collect money for Relay for
Life. We received word today of a couple of men who showed up at a local business with
white buckets saying they were collecting for the blue team from the Senior Center. If you
encounter these men or anyone else claiming to be collecting money for a Relay for Life
team associated with the COA or one of its facilities, please do not give them any money
and report them immediately to the police.
